The Mess
Several folks claim to have 'discovered' or 'invented' Lady Gaga. Among them, singer Wendy Starland has said she made Lady Gaga as she was not only the person to introduce her to producer Rob Fusari but also to (help) develop her career in the period thereafter. Posted here are a video containing interviews with Starland and Fusari as well as a copy of Gaga's letter of recommendation. In the meantime, Fusari has sued, and subsequently settled with, Lady Gaga (see earlier post), and Starland has in turn sued Fusari (see article). Quite the mess indeed.
