Lady Gaga and K-Pop at University of Seoul

On April 26, 2012, the day before the first ever Born This Way Ball, sociologist Mathieu Deflem will present from his work on the fame of Lady Gaga at the University of Seoul, Department of Urban Sociology, in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The talk will focus on the globalization of popular music and offer a comparative look at Lady Gaga and the K-pop phenomenon in Korea.
