Welcome to guitarist Tim Stewart, the newest member of the Lady Gaga live band, who will join on the Born This Way Ball! Tim grew up surrounded by music in church and elsewhere. In the early 200s, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his career in music. In 2002, right upon selling two of his favorites guitars to get some cash, he got a call that he could join the band for Jessica Simpson. Since then, he has played for a multitude of artists, including Britney Spears, Heather Headley, American Idol Live, Omarion, Jennifer Hudson, Backstreet Boys, Michelle Williams,, Nicole Sherzinger, 50 Cent, Sheila E, and many others. He has also played guitar on numerous albums, including music by Destiny's Child, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Faith Evans, Lionel Richie, Bobby Valentino, Brian Culbertson, Heather Headley, K-Ci, Vickie Winans, and Rodney Jerkins. Most recently, he was best known for playing with Infectious Grooves, the funk-rock sideproject of Suicidal Tendencies frontman Mike Muir. Tim plays Yamaha and McPherson guitars, and really likes to rock out on his Telecaster! A left-handed guitarist inspired one of his tattoos.
