Trademark Lady Gaga (Phaze 1)
In our series of Gaga-related legal hassles, a lawyer working on behalf of Lady Gaga sued a fan site, because the site's name (ladygaga.org) would be a violation of trademark. A complaint was submitted to the National Arbitration Forum, alleging that the fan site was registered "to capitalize on Lady Gaga’s fame." The claim was denied because the site is an unofficial fan site and garners no revenue (unlike certain other fan sites...).
