New Lady Gaga Live Band

January 2010. Keyboard player Joe Wilson on Sunday tweeted that he was on his way "to Ailey Theater NYC Day 1 of Lady Gaga BGVs and Band auditions hoping to find great musicians and singers" (Sunday, January 17, 2010). So it looks like Lady Gaga will have a new band for the second leg of the Monster Ball tour, featuring new musicians as well as background vocalists.

Update! Joe Wilson is musical director for Gaga's new band. On Sunday, background vocalists were auditioned. Auditions are held Monday and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. They're looking for musicians on bass, guitar, drums, keyboards, the works! Even a violinist/harpist is being persued... The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is located at 405 W. 55th Street (at 9th Avenue) in New York.
